I just wanted to take time out to say thanks to the South Florida, Chicago, New York, Eastern Jamaica chapters for taking the time to attend the Atlanta Chapter's first function. It was a huge success and we appreciate your thoughtfulness. Toronto, though you were not with us in persons, I know you were in spirit, so we want to also thank you for your support. Last but definitely not the least I want to thank the Atlanta Past Students who gave their overwhelming support to this cause. You all are truly a blessing.

It is National school Championship time again, and Holmwood Girls want to create history by winning. The boys are doing well also. We need your chapter, and all the other overseas chapters, or individuals help to facilitate their success in the sports. They need special nutrition now, as they go in camp at the school dormitory, starting next week March 11. We have started to collect supplies, but need some funding to get special food items, such as: Rice, floor, caned vegitables, caned fruit punch and other juices, codfish, macaroni, low fat mayonaise, jello, corned beef, cornmeal, sugar, cocoa, corn flakes, low fat milk. We were also asked to provide a large sponge for the high jump pit. This is a special type, and it is very expensive. We also have to assist with accommodation for seventy athletes for five days during Champs time, this is also a major cost. Finally we have to assist with Penn Relays (air fare, allowances, etc,). You can now see why we need your support.

PS. The school library need good books, if you can access any, please call/e-mail sezham@cwjamaica.com Thanks for your support.

Anyone interested in having our national airline servicing Toronto and its large Jamaican populace, let's get something started. Cpompetition is really needed in the air. Advantage is being taken of us. We are that great in number to keep other airlines flying; why don't we petition for our 'LOVE BIRD'. We keep hearing of rumours that the 'Love Bird' is doing so great that it can do without the TO route. What do you all have to say? It's time for action.
